Complete this worksheet before assigning a fee to content usage. A blank answer is not permission; it is an unresolved term. The worksheet is designed for a creator and buyer to turn “full usage” into a list of decisions that can be quoted and reviewed.
Asset and user
- Which exact approved files are covered?
- Are raw clips, project files, thumbnails, captions, or alternate hooks included?
- Which legal entity receives the license?
- May an agency, retailer, affiliate, regional account, or parent company use the asset?
Media and identity
- Is use organic, paid, email, ecommerce, retail display, broadcast, or another named medium?
- Which platforms and named accounts are included?
- Will advertising appear from a brand account or through the creator identity?
- Who can change advertising copy, targeting, destination links, and campaign settings?
Time, place, and change
- What event starts the license clock?
- What exact date or event ends it, and who confirms takedown?
- Which countries or regions are included?
- Are resizing, subtitles, cut-downs, new hooks, combinations, or claim changes permitted?

Write the unresolved-items note
If the buyer cannot yet answer the media plan, quote production separately and state: “Usage fee pending confirmation of asset, accounts, paid media, territory, start date, duration, editing permission, and renewal.” This is clearer than guessing a broad license and later trying to narrow it.
