Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026. This policy explains what Ratefolio processes today and what will change if analytics or advertising is enabled later.

The rate card builder

The rate card builder runs in your browser. Profile details, metrics, prices, deliverables, usage choices, payment terms, and notes entered into the builder are used by JavaScript on your device to update the preview. The form has no submit action and Ratefolio does not send or store those entries on its server.

Printing, saving a PDF, or copying a summary is initiated by your browser. A PDF saved to your device is controlled by you.

Information processed by the web server

Like most websites, the hosting server may temporarily record technical request information needed for security and reliability, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, browser user agent, and referring page. These operational logs are used to diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and maintain the service. They are not sold.

Contact messages

If you contact us by email, we receive the address, message, and any information you voluntarily include. We use it to respond, investigate a reported problem, or handle a privacy request. Do not send passwords, contracts, tax records, private campaign data, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Cookies and local storage currently used

The public Ratefolio tool does not currently use analytics cookies or advertising cookies. The administration area may use essential session and security cookies for authorized administrators. Those cookies are required for authentication and are not used for advertising.

Analytics status

Ratefolio does not currently load Google Analytics or another audience analytics service. If analytics is introduced, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated before deployment, and consent controls will be used where required.

Advertising status and Google AdSense

Ratefolio does not currently load active Google AdSense advertising code on public pages. Empty advertising positions in the page templates produce no advertisement. If AdSense is enabled in the future, Google and participating advertising partners may process device information, IP address, cookies, local storage, page activity, and advertising identifiers to deliver, measure, limit, or personalize advertising.

Before serving personalized advertising to visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Ratefolio will configure a Google-certified consent management platform that supports the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Visitors will be offered the choices and disclosures required by that platform. This site will not treat the current absence of a consent message as permission for personalized advertising.

Service providers and disclosures

Hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information on our behalf to operate and secure the site. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or users, or as part of a legitimate business transfer with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention and security

Operational logs and contact messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, support, legal, and record-keeping purposes. No internet service can promise absolute security, but access to administrative functions is restricted and software is maintained to reduce avoidable risk.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal information. Because builder entries remain in your browser, Ratefolio cannot retrieve or delete a rate card it never received. You can remove locally saved PDFs or copied text from your own device.

Children

Ratefolio is a professional business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.

External links and policy changes

External websites have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top will identify the current version.
